Bluegum

Inspired by the shifting hues and tactile surfaces of the bluegum tree as it sheds its bark, Bluegum explores cycles of change, renewal, and quiet transformation. Layers of acrylic, ink, collage and mixed media reveal subtle transitions of colour and texture—echoing both the beauty of the external landscape and the inner processes of release and becoming. The work invites the viewer to pause and consider their own response, finding within its surfaces a dialogue between strength and vulnerability, permanence and change.
